In September 2006, I revived my Domesday Machine which had been sitting in a corner in pieces since my first attempt at copying the data off the Domesday Discs had been abandoned in the autumn of 2004. Its first duty was in connection with my new Domesday Rescue efforts and this was a special configuration of the machine for this purpose, involving an ARM Co-processor instead of the usual 6502 second processor.
In October 2006 I made some changes to the setup of the machine in readiness for the twentieth anniversary and you can see this version of my Domesday Machine in the images above. I am pretty sure this is the nearest I am going to get to an actual Domesday Machine and hope you will click on the picture links above to learn more about my 20th anniversary Domesday Machine.
