This is a JVC DVD recorder, I went for a good make second time around. Although it was new, I don't think it is a particularly recent model and it will only record using DVD + RW discs. The Cello one could record on the -RW type as well as +RW, but I'd bought -RW ones for that machine, so I had to get a set of +RW discs for my new JVC recorder. I bought a pack of 10, and I've still got 4 left.
