SCSI
Interface

I think the BBC Master SCSI interface has to be one of the rarest items of 8-bit Acorn equipment ever produced. It is an integral part of the Domesday Machine as it provides the interfacing between the Beeb and Laserdisc Player.
The SCSI interface is just about a foot long and one-and-three-quarter inches wide. It fits rather neatly in the bay between the power supply and the main motherboard, taking up the space the whole of the depth of the machine. When in place, it looks as if it is part of the PCB.
It fixes in position with five screws at points moulded into the casing, taking the position of the intended modem upgrade which I don't think every came to anthing.
I hope you will click on the photographs above for more information about this fascinating add-on.
