BeebMaster's Domesday Machine

BBC Master 128

This is one of the oldest existing pictures on BeebMaster, taken on 19th November 2003!

Most pictures of that age have now been replaced, unless they showed an item which no longer exists or, as in this case, is no longer in the form at the time it was photographed. This Master 128 has now been upgraded to "AIV" equivalent, so I can't get a more recent picture of it without a full dismantle which I'd rather not do.

At the time the picture was taken I had plenty of Masters to choose from, but they are in much shorter supply now. The one I selected is the first Beeb I bought when I went back into full-time Beebing in 2001. I got it from a very nice lady down in Trafford. For a time, it was Station 1 on my Econet but it was replaced in about May 2002 with the current Station 1. I put it away in the wardrobe thinking I would keep it for some special future purpose. Eighteen months later, it was called upon to become part of the BeebMaster Domesday Machine.
