This is the two Laserdisc Players stacked on top of each other. The top one is the Domesday LV-ROM player and it is branded "British Broadcasting Corporation". The bottom one is the Laserdisc Player marked "VP-410 Laservision Disc Drive" and Philips branded.

The two units are almost identical except for the additional section attached to the bottom of the Domesday Player. This contains the SCSI and Genlock circuitry and has a 50-way SCSI connector at the back.
