The first screenshot recorded with Domesday XXV is an information page about the setup: as noted, there are now two ROMs in the cartridge - ANFS, as before, and also now ADT, which is a very handy utility ROM indeed. It's in pretty much all of my Beebs in regular use, so I didn't see why the Domesday Machine should be any different!
During Domesday 2010 I had a system of only allowing the wonky VP415 to be powered on for an hour at a time. I haven't been quite so insistent on this policy with Domesday XXV, but to reduce the time that the LV-ROM player is switched on, I have added a second video lead to the Master: a comp video lead. This allows me to select either the RGB or the comp video input on the DVD recorder, so I don't have to have the LV-ROM player powered up all the time to still be able to see the BBC micro picture. It also means I can see the BBC micro picture in isolation at any time without any Domesday mixing getting in the way.
The serial lead introduced for Domesday 2010 also returns for Domesday XXV, but I've changed the VP415 baud rate from 1200 to 9600.
