Domesday
2010
The BBC Master is virtually the same as the 20th anniversary version, plus three years' worth of dust, except that there is no ribbon cable connected to the internal SCSI interface, as I am using a serial lead instead.
Although it's possible to make the laserdisc player perform all the functions which it can perform when it's under SCSI control by using a serial connection instead, it isn't possible to read the computer data from LV-ROM discs without the SCSI connection. After these early experiments with Domesday 2010 configured as above, I did add the SCSI ribbon cable later on so I could run the Domesday Discs.
Trackerball and Remote Control as previously; dual floppy drive for saving and loading, as there's going to be a lot of programming going on.
One addition (the AIV User Guide obtained courtesy of E-Bay in the summer of 2010) and two replacements: the LV-ROM player and the monitor, neither of which have been used in any previous BeebMaster Domesday setup.
