The pictures above show the first BeebMaster Econet Module, with socketed ICs. This was supplied as a test piece. All the remaining pieces had the ICs soldered direct to the board.

This protoype piece saw very useful service in May 2018 when testing a batch of 68B54 chips for the new BeebMaster BBC Model B Econet kits.
