This is a closer view of the front section. There is no hard disc activity light underneath the power light which makes me think that the A410/1 was supplied originally without a hard disc fitted.

Also we can see the keyboard socket on the right. I've always thought this was a very sensible idea, having the keyboard plug into the front. Even better is the idea of plugging the mouse into the keyboard so you don't get a shortage of cable like you do when these things are connected round the back.
