This is the main box of the A410/1. I've always liked the look and feel of the early Archimedes machines, they are rather distinctive. Much better in my opinion than the square-box PC lookalikes Acorn brought out later.

There is a cut-out in the front of the machine to fit a 3½" floppy drive with its own front panel. Some of the earlier Archimedes (A305 & A310, I think) had the disc drive front panel built into the computer.
