Also, as a bit of a bodge, I was keeping a record of how many files had been saved since the last directory was created, rather than counting the number of files actually in the directory, which ended up being highly inaccurate because pages were sometimes saved multiple times where the same sub-page was transmitted more than once in the broadcast cycle.
