A bit of a mess round the back with this odd plastic moulding affair bolted on the back. Presumably when it was tested in 1995, it wasn't blowing a fuse so maybe there is hope for it.
The baud rate selection seen in the VP400 series has reduced by this point to two options - 1200 and 9600.
