Using 8-inch CD Video
With the disc playing, many of its features are correctly detected - CLV, 8 inches, chaptering - but the sound read-out isn't correct. CD Video discs have digital sound, that's what differentiates them from earlier LaserVision discs which had analogue sound. However, something as old as the VP406 doesn't know that and it can't understand digital sound, so it gets ignored and the player reports it as a non-audio disc.
