CD Video is a combination of digital sound and analogue video. The audio track is stored on the inner part of the disc and can be played in standard CD players. The video is stored on the outer track beyond the digital audio and requires a laserdisc or CD Video machine play it. This picture of the two disc surfaces shows the different audio and video areas.
