The file server can be run by typing *FS3-092, remembering of course to switch the Tube on first. After the memory test completes, enter date and time and then the number of drives, ie. 1. Press "S" and enter a sufficient number of stations and the file server will mount the Econet partition on the floppy disc without the need for any disc changing!

To automate the process further, the floppy disc can be made to autoboot. This could be done in one of two ways. Either create a !Boot file which runs FS3-092 and set the boot option with *OPT 4,3 to EXEC or rename the FS3-092 file to !Boot and set the boot option with *OPT 4,2 to RUN.
