I bought this player in 2003 along with a dead VP415. The idea was to use this working VP410 as a donor unit for spare parts to repair the VP415. This is something I didn't actually attempt until 2010. I was successfully able to restore the VP415 to working order - more about it here but I had to sacrifice my VP410 which now no longer works.
