I've pressed BREAK again, and you'll remember that a moment or two ago I configured the VFS Utilities ROM to a VP setting of 3, which is Superimpose. The VP415 is currently in still mode, so the same frame is from the start-up sequence is still displaying, but we can now read the BBC overlay correctly and the VFS Utilities ROM has intervened and changed the overlay mode to 3.
