The overlay in the maps section uses video mixing mode 4 - transparent - allowing the map from the laserdisc to show through the coloured areas generated by the Beeb. It means that the text isn't always easy to read, so we can change to VP 2 - BBC only - mode by pressing the Change button whilst in the map area.
