These pictures were taken in June 2010 at the end of my first DVD recorder's working life, so it's looking a little battle-worn. The scratches on the surface are from the various TVs and monitors which have rested thereon over the years.

It's a "Cello" brand, not exactly top-of-the-range, and in fact I'm pretty sure it was the cheapest DVD recorder it was possible to buy at the time.
