After quite a bit of jiggery-pokery, I realised that I couldn't fit the new hard disc in its alloted position underneath the floppy drive without removing the PSU and probably the main board as well. So I thought it would be easier to move the floppy drive down instead.

There are no screw-holes for the metal blanking plate in the top slot so it is held in place with some red insulating tape.
