Most unglamorous, the metal pot with flip-up lid, but this one is the workhorse of all my teapots, having served me more cups of tea than any other.

It's my everyday pot which will do two mugs or three cups. It lives in the kitchen although it does occasionally travel with me when space prevents the chrome pot going along.

The problem with this type of pot is that the spout is prone to spilling. The trick is not to fill the pot too full and pour very gently, but to get a full three cups out it, it really needs to be brimming.
