Station 200
BBC Master 128
This is a new picture of Station 200 after I rearranged things a bit to accommodate Station 201 at the end of May 2003.
I took the opportunity to make a few changes to this machine.
I have taken out Wordwise Plus and replaced it with Inter-Word, my favourite word-processor. I have filled the ROM cartridges so that they contain Hi-BASIC, Acorn ANFS, Acorn Advanced Teletext Filing System and the Advanced Disc Toolkit.
I have the machine configured with the Tube switched on and I have configured it to Hi-BASIC as the default language. I did this partly because the Teletext Filing System increases page to 8704 without the Tube!!
Sometimes I need to use Station 200 without the Tube but I always forget that it is configured to Hi-BASIC so I just get the flashing cursor with no prompt. The only way out of this is to boot from a filing system which does not have a boot (ie. a disc with no !BOOT file or Econet with the clock switched off) so that you get back to the * prompt.
I abandoned the idea of trying to attach four floppy drives to this machine. I have put the 3" double drive away and changed the links back in the Technomatic drives so this can be used with Station 200.
