Inside there are four main elements - the keyswitch, PSU, main board and hard disc. The keyswitch is practically identical to the one used in the MDFS, except it's a different key fitting, which I haven't got, so I've never been able to operate the keyswitch and power on the disc sharer.

I'm not brave enough to try to unpick it since I broke my first MDFS by doing the same thing, so how it all works and what may be on the hard disc will have to remain a mystery till somebody sends me a key!
