I left it a bit late in the day to take this photograph - on 6th February 2012 - showing the debut flying of the 2012 Two-Yard Flag.
In 2012, I introduced an interchangeable system of poles which fit into the silver coloured mounting which is fixed into the ground. This allows me to have each of the outdoor flying flags in regular use on its own pole so that they can be flown and taken down very easily. Previously, the 2005 Two-Yard flag needed to be secured at the fly end to prevent it trailing on the ground, but the new system makes the pole slightly higher: the 2012 does not need to be secured, as we can see here.
