Her Most Noble Majesty Our Gracious Queen is eighty-five years old on 21st April 2011, already the longest-lived and longest-married British Monarch ever, and very shortly (on 12th May this year) about to become the second-longest reigning in British history.

Join with me in celebrating this momentous occasion in the life of the nation and spare a moment to pay tribute to a long and glorious reign characterised throughout by dignity and unswerving devotion to duty. Long may it continue!
