More of the Xebec controller board in a bit. This is the hard drive which came along with it, a good one by all accounts as there are no bad sectors on the defect list. Notice the rather intriguing luggage label.

This appears to suggest that the hard disc contains the OS9 operating system for the 68000 series second processor for the BBC micro. I have tried this hard disc connected up to both the Xebec board which came with it and one of my Adaptec ACB4000 boards but I haven't yet been able to read anything off it. It looks like I am going to need the second processor which uses the operating system on the disc, so I am saving it until I can connect it up to the right bits if I ever get hold of them.
