I have not yet tried this out but it certainly looks interesting! It plugs into the mains and there is a lead at the back which goes to a DIN-plug of the BBC RS423 type.

It looks like a sort of standalone EPROM copier because there are two ROM sockets, labelled "MASTER" and "SLAVE". There are four push buttons on the front which appear to control the EPROM size etc. and various LEDs to indicate the status.

If it is a standalone unit then I am not sure what the serial cable is for. There is a chip with it marked "SC84" but this is smaller than the standard BBC EPROMs so I am not sure where this goes.
