With the heatsink removed, we can see the Electron ULA, the Acorn-designed part which drives a lot of the internal workings of the Electron. It's prone to failure, I'm led to believe, being one of the most common causes of dead Electrons, but I am delighted to say that this one is still functioning perfectly after nearly 25 years!
