With the lid off, things get a bit more interesting.

First off, we can see the purpose of those flaps in the lid. They are covers for two cartridge slots, just like those on the Master 128. In fact, the Electron Plus 1 takes the same cartridges but the ROMs used must be compatible for the Electron.
