BeebMaster - I Want an Econet!

T-Pieces

With the network connected together using the two-socket ends, this leaves the single socket ends free for connecting network stations.

The disadvantage of T-pieces over Econet socket boxes is that a T-piece is required for each network station, and two for the clock, whereas a socket box can support two stations or the Econet clock on its own.

There are also a greatly increased number of connection points along the network, each T-piece requiring three separate connections. This can be handy for fault-finding, but makes for lower reliability of the network overall.

There is an illustrated guide to creating an Econet of T-pieces here.
