Here we see the BBC B motherboard for the first time without the Special Econet board.
Although the idea would have been to eliminate the faff of fitting the BBC B Econet upgrade, the Special Econet board does still require some soldering directly to the BBC motherboard: 5 IC sockets have been fitted here.
