Econet Bridge
Like the FileStore and the Acorn Econet Bridge, the SJ Research Econet Bridge is a miniature BBC micro.
The large chip on the left hand side is a 6502 processor. On the right hand side is a 6522 Versatile Interface Adapter.
Next to the 6502 is a ROM containing the Bridge software and next to that is a 51256 which I think is the EEPROM which holds the configuration settings, although it could be the Bridge's RAM as I can't see another other memory chips on the board.
In the middle are two 68B54 chips, the driver chip for Econet. The Bridge has two Econet interfaces, one for each network being bridged and the other components to the Econet interface are built around the 68B54s.
On the right hand side of the board is a set of empty spaces, including room for some fuses. This must have been some sort of upgrade to the Bridge but I don't know what as this is not mentioned in the user guide.
