Acorn FileStore E20
The much needed 20MB of E20 (or what's left of it after the formatter has done its work) is back. As you can see, I'm running out of space quite rapidly on the two floppy discs in the E01.
As to the 500-odd K of space already used up on the Rodime, I don't think it was the initialisation routine which has taken up the room. Those of you familiar with Acorn file servers will know that the free space reporting includes disc space assigned to the ADFS part of the disc in the used amount calculation. So, the formatter has probably reserved a few hundred kilobytes in an ADFS partition at the front of the disc.
In due time I'll try to pick it all to bits to unravel the mystery, but that's going to have to suffice for explanations for now.
