This is the MDFS with the lid removed. Take a good look now, the rarity of these machines is matched only by the scarcity of pictures of the insides.

Here we can see the main elements: the MDFS motherboard, the power supply and the keyswitch mechanism. Also present, but not visible from this picture, is a small circuit board upon which all the front panel LEDs and Release Discs button are mounted.
