Here I am beginning to disassemble the FileStore. These things are a dratted nuisance for taking to bits because of the four clip-on plastic side pieces.

The first thing to do is to remove the six screws underneath the FileStore holding the case to the base.

Next, unclip the back and front cladding. You will probably have to insert a screwdriver between the plastic and the case to get it off. This leaves your FileStore with lots of lovely scratches.

Beware when detaching the front piece as it is booby trapped. The two lights will come out of the front piece of the casing if the black plastic mounting is removed from the back of each LED and then from the front.

The drive door sensor has to be disconnected from the FileStore circuit board once you get the lid off. This leaves the front cladding dangling around banging your arm or leg whilst you are taking it to bits.
