This picture set explores all the different "layers" of overlay which can be achieved using the Domesday VP415, starting with the basic video from the laserdisc to the overlays available internally inside the player, then the overlay layers available on the Domesday Sandwich video mixing board. The set starts with a demonstration of how each of these layers can be built up and then shows a utility I've written to show the different layers working.
