Module G is the genlock module, which establishes lock between the disc frame and the sync generator provided by Module D. This module is part of the main VP415, and is identical to the VP410 in this respect, and so this genlock module has nothing to do with the genlocking for the BBC computer overlay which is carried out by Module Y in the Domesday Sandwich part of the player.
