Domesday Data Merge was a software package issued by the BBC in 1987 intended to be used with the Domesday Discs to make full use of all the data stored in Domesday. It was one of the oft-quoted uses for the Domesday System, that organisations could get themselves Domesday and then use its vast contents for all manner of statistical research purposes.
