Early Domesday Attempts

In theory, connecting all the bits and pieces together and running the machine should produce a working Domesday System. It isn't quite a simple as that and I had more than a bit of trouble getting things to work in the early days before I had all the relevant parts.

My three main early attempts to put together my own Domesday System are documented below:

15th November 2003
This was my first attempt to recreate Domesday with the limited items I then had. This attempt also contains full instructions on how to connect the SCSI Interface to the BBC Master. Please click on the picture link to the left to learn more.

14th December 2003
A month later, and armed with a few new bits and pieces, I had another go. Please click on the image to the left to find out more.

7th February 2004
After quite a gap, I finally had another go with my Domesday system. Thankfully, it turned out to be third time lucky and you can read all about it by clicking on the picture link. The link contains full instructions on how to put the Domesday System together properly.
