1983 saw a lot of political goings-on with Mrs Thatcher's landslide general election victory, Neil Kinnock replacing Michael Foot as Labour leader and the resignation of Cecil Parkinson. And it wouldn't have been the 1980s without some I.R.A. bombs chucked in as well.
