Yes, I know it was an Acorn host adapter in a non-Acorn product!

I think it is a rare example of a collaboration between Acorn and a third party, in this case Digital Services, who presumably had permission to use Acorn's own host adapter boards in their products.

This is the tape drive inside the Digistore, a 2060S drive from Archive Corporation. The code, I think, means it is a 60MB SCSI tape drive, which explains why no Winchester controller is required; the built-in ScSI interface on the tape drive connects straight to the host adapter board.
