It used to be called "tidying up", or even "spring cleaning".

But nobody tidies any more, let alone spring cleans!

Nah, in the twenty-first century, people de-clutter!

And that's what I've been doing since about August 2008. I must admit the rate of expansion of the BeebMaster collection has slowed a bit in the last couple of years, after the frenetic period between 2002 to 2005, but there's still far more Acorniana around BeebMaster Towers than really ought to inhabit a 3-bed semi!

So, at great personal expense, I decided to invest in a storage room. It costs me a fortune and is miles away from home, but it's safe and secure and dry, so it just does the trick. This picture was taken just before Christmas 2008 and contains the first dozen BeebMaster boxes.

The original idea was to shift everything that had to go within a couple of weekends, but as I started to look through boxes and piles, I realised just how much there was that I hadn't photographed for the website, and even plenty of items I'd never even tried out!

So instead of shoving everything into plastic boxes and carting it off across town, everything has been carefully tested and recorded for future updates!

One day I might actually have some room to move about at home! That's a long way off, though!
