Christmas is a
time for...
Buying yourself presents!

I couldn't resist this little lot, which was offered to me just before Christmas 2006. What a good present to myself it will make, thought I!

The parcel arrived on 19th December 2006, giving me nearly a week to try everything out before the annual tidying up of the BeebMaster workshop.

There will be more on these items during 2007 but, in brief, this very special early Christmas present comprised the following:

- Acorn Winchester Disc 130, in full working order with its original Rodime RO203E full-height 30MB hard disc

- Digital Services Digistore tape drive, also working and pretty rare by all accounts

- two Seagate ST238R RLL Winchester Disc drives, working and formatted, with drive carriage and spare front panel

- Cumana BBC micro dust cover

- four DC600A tapes for the Digistore

- spare Astec power supply for the Winchester Disc or Digistore, which is going to come in very handy for use in my existing Winchester Disc remains

- Econet light thing, use and function as yet unknown

- Centronics SCSI converter thing
