One of the problems of moving was that the new house had no Ethernet cabling, and in particular no wires to link upstairs internet devices to downstairs, where the telephone line comes in and where the internet modem had to live. This meant that for the first six months I had to resort to power line adapters to use wired internet upstairs, in the BeebRoom and BeebOffice. I changed all that in September 2024.
