The number is a clue, especially as the model number on the back has faded away. It's a 653, which indicates the resolution. This is the mid-range one, which is perfect for a BBC micro. The other monitor on the stall was a 452 which is lower resolution, so I think I did well to spot it early on.

After 8 months in the BeebMaster Workshop (ie. dining room) it was redeployed permanently at Christmas 2013 to Station 201.
