This is the underside of the Olivetti laptop, and in addition to the detachments for floppy drive and battery, there is also a removable panel which gives you access to two memory expansion slots. The machine comes with 8MB on board, and I added two 8MB DIMM modules to increase it to 24MB. Its maximum capacity is 40MB by using 2 16MB modules.
Ever since I increased the RAM, the computer has run very hot. I discovered years later that this may have been because the extra RAM I used may have been of the wrong power rating, or something.
As you can see from this picture, the RAM is right underneath the Winnie, and I think that the original hard drive melted due to the extra heat.
