A 50-pin connector at the back indicates that there is a SCSI podule fitted. The blanking plates indicate that only one of a possible 4 podule slots are occupied.

Tantalisingly, the "Econet not fitted" label has been removed - it looks like an Econet lead has been pushed in over the top of it, as bits of label seems to be stuck inside the DIN connector - so this machine has had a previous life as a network station.
