To see the earliest beginnings of BBC BASIC, we just need to look at a few lines of Atom BASIC. It's practically the same but with some subtle differences. In Atom BASIC, statements are separated with a semi-colon instead of a colon. Here we change mode with CLEAR instead of MODE. Atom BASIC uses "DO...UNTIL" instead of "REPEAT...UNTIL".
