BeebMaster - the Acorn Letters

This was an enquiry about a couple of commands which come up on *HELP MOS on the Master which I wasn't sure about. I also asked if CTRL-SHIFT could be disabled as this can have unhelpful side effects on certain programmes if you freeze the scrolling whilst something important is going on. I have since learnt that this is also a problem with Econet - if you do *EX for instance, and then hold down CTRL-SHIFT for a couple of minutes, you will get a No Reply or Not Listening error.

I've never fathomed out *X but I think it is a way of two different second processors communicating with each other. That's all I know!
