Looks good! I wish I'd started with the Acorn formatter!

*FREE and *MAP show us that about 19K has been used and there are several gaps in the free space map. The reason for this is the way defects are dealt with under RISC-OS filing systems.

On a BBC system with ST506 type controllers, the Winchester disc controller deals with defect handling so that the hard disc appears as a continuous block of logical sectors to the ADFS. Here, though, we can see that the defects are mapped out at the filing system level, giving us a broken up FS map and some disc space already used.
